10 x Agribusiness Team Leaders

Job Description

Applicants are invited to fill in the vacant positions of Team Leaders x 10 (Agribusiness- Mashonaland East, West & Central) that have arisen in our Life Assurance Division:

Reporting to: The Technical sales Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Establishing synergies through stakeholder relationship management in the agribusiness value chain
• Team Administration
• Assist in recruiting, training, and motivating sales agents
• Performance management
• Compiling and analysing team sales figures
• Advise on market information such as changing customer needs, queries, etc
• Quality control of new business

Key qualifications, experience & competencies

• A qualification in Agriculture
• Minimum of 1-year experience in agribusiness working in the private sector or government sector
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with farmers
• In-depth knowledge of agriculture
• Good record of achieving targets
• Strong selling and managerial skills
• Be able to demonstrate self-confidence, maturity, and ability to work independently and deliver results without close supervision
• Should be aggressive, effective communicator, team player, sociable, versatile, resourceful, hardworking, and a self-starter
• Good presentation & interpersonal skills
