VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: No. 1 of 2022

The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development is inviting applications from suitable qualified job seekers to fill the posts of 3 x HUMAN CAPITAL PLANNING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS at Head Office in the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development.

REPORTS TO : DEPUTY DIRECTOR, TERTIARY EDUCATION PROGRAMMES

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in formulating and disseminating policies that influence the establishment of an efficient tertiary education institution
Conduct monitoring and evaluation of programmes in tertiary education institutions
Assist in carrying out dialogue on curriculum planning and develapment issues in institutions
Assist in assessing the impact of TVET on Industry and Commerce
Monitor effective application of relevant Statutory Instruments and observance of sound corporate governance practices.
Organise and attend meetings and workshops
Monitor teaching and learning in institutions

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

A Bachelor of Education Degree/Social Work/Technical Education/Adult Education / Educational Management
A Master’s degree with bias towards Educational Administration is an added advantage
Minimum of 5 years working as a Senior Lecturer in a teachers college, polytechnic or industrial training college
Thorough understanding of the current national development policies. programmes and priorities
