8 x Post Graduate Interns – Call Center

Job Description

Location: HARARE
Duration of internship: 12 MONTHS

Summary of responsibilities

Responding to callers in need of psycho-social support and providing health information to young People in the community.

Duties:

• Provide tele-counselling to adolescents, young people and proactively respond to their concerns
• Facilitate referrals for all clinical and non-clinical services to relevant service providers.
• Compile case reports for all cases (Case Documentation)
• Follow up on dropped calls, pending cases and respond to messages from clients.
• Compile and submit quality, and accurate reports as required by line manager.
• Participate in awareness campaigns for children and young people within the community.
• Maintain an accurate record of all calts, activities, and correspondence.

Applicant Specifications:

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Science degree in Social Work or Psychology.
• Registration with the Council of Social Workers is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of technical areas such as sexual reproductive health, SGBY, child protection and work with youth is an added advantage.

Skills

• Written and spoken proficiency in English, Shona & / Ndebele.
• Good interpersonal skills, including team work and strong networking skills.
