Job Description
Duties
- Maintaining financial records and filing.
- Preparing and verifying bank deposits and carrying out bank reconciliations.
- Entering financial information into Sage Evolution.
- Coordinating internal and external audits.
- Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget.
- Handling accruals and prepayments.
- Completes basic bookkeeping, clerical and accounting tasks for the company.
- Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
- Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.
- Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors and vendors.
- Purchases and stock management.
- Create daily reports for management and team members.
- Tax returns filling.
- Maintain inventories through computer systems
- Oversees the inventory levels of the business
- Reconcile inventories
Requirements
- Must have 3 years’ experience on the similar position.
- Accounting Degree and/or, ACCA/CIMA/CIS.
- Driver’s license is a must.
- Technology oriented.
- Knowledge of Pastel partner is an added advantage.
- Experience in the Hardware supply industry is an added advantage.
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting
