- Accounts Officers – (Vehicle licensing, Tolling, Infralink)
- Accounts Officers- Provincial Offices (Chinhoyi x 1, Bulawayo x 1, Bindura x 1)
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Accounts Officer for Provincial Office is responsible for timely and accurate processing and reconciliation of all finance documents in accordance with ZINARA Standard Operating Procedures. The incumbent reports to the Financial Controller.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day to day supervision of Accounts Clerks.
- Supervising data capturing of Vehicle Licensing, Tolling, Transit, and Fuel Levy in the system,
- Reviewing of weekly and monthly commission computation.
- Check reconciliation of cash up summaries daily
- Safekeeping of revenue collections awaiting banking.
- Co-ordinating of banking and receipting processes.
- First level review of accounting journals.
- First level review of payment processing.
- Carrying out revenue and bank reconciliations as per SOP
- Compiling monthly, weekly, and daily returns.
- Liaison with ZINARA agents for-Vehicle Licencing, Tolling, Transit, and Fuel Levy
- Petty cash reconciliation.
- Any other duties that may be delegated by line management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 O’ Levels including Maths and English.
- A three-to-four-year Accounting Degree, Class 2.1 or better.
- Proven two years of supervisory experience in an accounting department.
- Part CIMA/ACCA
