Job Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the vacant position of an Administration Assistant.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Packages and Databases.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in stock management.
  • Ordering stationery, tools of trade, groceries and other office supplies.
  • Ordering, recording, and reconciliation of staff meals.
  • Assisting in asset management and physical asset verification.
  • Attending to all repairs to assets and office equipment as requested by users.
  • Recording, registering, licensing and insuring of all new and existing assets.
  • Fleet management.
  • Making travel arrangements for Commissioners and staff members in liaison with the Procurement department.
  • Reception management.
  • Overseeing the general cleanliness and upkeep of the offices and surroundings.
  • Scheduling and organising meetings.
  • Filing and record maintenance.

Requisite qualifications & experience:

  • A degree in Business Administration or Procurement or any related field.
  • At least a year of working experience in a similar role.
