Agribusiness Agents (Mashonaland East, West & Central)

Job Description

Applicants are invited to fill in the vacant positions of Agents (Agribusiness- Mashonaland East, West & Central) that have arisen in our Life Assurance Division.

Reporting to: The Team Leader

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Giving financial advice to clients who are predominantly farmers
• Selling life assurance products to the agribusiness market
• Establishing synergies in the agribusiness value chain by creating and managing relationships with stakeholders
• Assisting in resolving client queries
• Advise on market information such as changing customer needs

Key qualifications, experience & competencies

• At least one point at A’ Level in any subject and 5 O’ Levels including Maths &n English
• A qualification in Agriculture is an added advantage
• Proven working experience in the agricultural sector
• Be aged 20-49 years
• Good record of achieving targets
• Self-motivated and self-driven
• Able to demonstrate self-confidence and ability to work independently and deliver results without close supervision
• Able to demonstrate a keen ability to inter-relate with people of diverse backgrounds and have a service-oriented disposition
• Mature and good communication skills (both orally and written)
