Job Description

Our firm is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join the team. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years professional experience working in external audit. The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with established standards and deadlines.

EXPERIENCE

Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution and reporting phases
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including managing client expectations
Ensuring that audit engagements meet the required standards as per International Audit Standards guidelines and local regulations
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to develop their skills
Ensure that the deliverables for the engagement team meet the expected firm standards and ISA guidelines
Perform risk assessment and evaluate work by team to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies for clients

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
ACCA or other relevant accounting or finance certification
At least 3 years’ experience in an audit related role, with a focus on financial statement audit
Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISAs and related regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
