Job Description
A well established and growing company in the financial services sector seeks to employ a Bureau De Change Manager/Compliance Manager for its Zimbabwe operations.
The key deliverables for this position shall, inter alia, include:
- Overall responsibility & management of the Bureau De Change.
- Sourcing funds in local currency & foreign currency and ensuring that there is always enough funds to meet client’s needs.
- Building a strong customer base for the bureau de change that ensures business growth.
- Work on various initiatives aimed at generating new streams of income.
- Establish a working environment that inspires and motivates employees.
- Demonstrate and role model customer service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Establish & maintain a professional working relationship with various stakeholders including regulatory authorities.
- Monitoring the economic & business environment and directing the bureau’s competitive response.
- Making sure that the bureau’s operations comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Any other duties as delegated from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years post- qualification experience with a minimum of 2 years managing a bureau de change.
- Exposure to foreign exchange operations, exchange rate mechanisms and the financial market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking/Finance/Accounts or Business management.
- Strong leadership qualities
- Must not have a criminal record or have been disqualified from holding any financial position in the financial services sector.
