We have been retained by our client to facilitate the recruitment and selection of self-driven and competent personnel to fill the vacant position of Chief information Officer that has arisen within their organization.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of the Job is to manage technical tasks and makes decisions about future systems that will be necessary based on their unique objectives or goals.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Establishes organizational technology vision and goals.
• Develops strategic plans and deployment of company technology and infrastructure.
• Develops and managing IT budget.
• Studies IT systems to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Represents Company at conferences and networking events.
• Ensures company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Studies current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development.
• Strategizes and implementing technology that results in company growth.
• Estimates and establishing cost parameters, budgets, and potential ROI.
• Collaborates with team leadership to create long-term plans and improvements
• Provides support and mentorship to IT leadership and team members.
• Creates and customizing technology systems for optimized performance.
• Purchases technology software, equipment, and accessories for company.
• Implements technology to streamline internal operations and optimizing strategic benefits.

JOB RELATED ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/ computer science/ management information systems /or related field.
• Master’s degree in information technology or a technology-related discipline preferred.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 5 years of experience at management level.
