Job Description

Are you well spoken with great customer service skills? An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a leading provider of short-term insurance solutions. This position is in Bulawayo.

The Job Involves (among other duties):

  • Process claims in the allocated portfolio efficiently and ensure that they are finalised within the time frames stipulated in the company’s service charter or manual.
  • Attend to all claims/queries promptly and refer all complex issues to the Branch Controller. • Audit all claims monthly and compile a report for the Branch Controller.
  • Initiate reinsurance recoveries, facultative and excess of loss cash calls.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Five (5) Ordinary Level passes. English Language and Mathematics are a must.
  • At least 2 ´A´ level passes.
  • Degree in Risk and Insurance Management or a relevant degree.
  • ACII/AIISA/AIIZ Diploma is an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years´ experience in insurance dealing with claims.
  • Sound analytical, problem solving, report writing and customer service skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
