JOB DESCRIPTION
- Directs and leads work of Service providers such as architects, consultants and contractors to achieve standards of performance; seeks and provides input to continually improve performance.
- Analyses project information to continuously seek ways to meet standards of performance.
- Supports and contributes to work of other related functions such as Operations and Maintenance by providing expertise and services needed.
- Ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of real estate properties to anticipate impact on construction costs and timeliness requirements.
- Provides effective project management support to stake presidents to solve their problems within established policy.
- Contributes to the professional improvement of peers by sharing expertise.
- Develops professional skills and receives training to improve professional competence.
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold a current / valid temple recommend and/or be worthy to hold one.
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction and real estate management, engineering, or architecture.
- 5 to 7 years related real estate, construction and building background (owner of firm, project manager, or superintendent).
- Requires proven leadership, business, management and negotiation skills.
- Requires ability to communicate and deal with sensitivity and respect with ecclesiastical leaders, and effectively with real estate representatives, architects, engineers, contractors, city building officials, governmental agencies, neighbourhood associations, zoning review boards, etc.
- Basic estimating, scheduling, and analysis work skills.
- Good public relations skills and have demonstrated ability to manage people and multiple projects.
- Must work well with and through people in the performance of his/her duties.
- Competent in computer support services to perform project cost control and scheduling to analyse and report performance.
- Professional certification in a major related professional preferred.
