Job Description

An independent coeducational school invites applications from an experienced and suitably qualified person for the following posts for January 2023.

1-Cook

Requirements

• At least a certificate in Hotel and Catering or equivalent qualification.
• Five or more years of experience as a cook

Key Responsibilities

• Capable to prepare and cook meals following preset menu in accordance with the Health and Safety Regulations.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, beef, poultry and other foods.
• Serve food.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

2-GENERAL HAND X 2 (A Groundsman and a Cleaner)

Requirements

• Five years working experience
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the condition and appearance of lawns, grounds and practice fields in a very good state.
• Laying out and marking playing fields.
• Mowing, watering and fertilizing laws.
• Plane, trimming, mulching and festitizing flowers, shrubs and trees.
• Cleaning and painting benches, poles and signs.
• Keeping facilities and surrounding areas free from trash, litter, debris and weeds.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and materials.
• Following applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
