Duties & Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and prospect cross-selling opportunities within the hospitality sector, and create strategies to maximize revenue from existing clients by analyzing market trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through cold calling, networking, and meeting potential clients. Establish relationships with key decision-makers and set up meetings with company leaders.
- Plan and pitch proposals tailored to client needs, participate in pricing discussions, handle objections, and use various negotiation styles to achieve positive outcomes, while presenting an image that aligns with the client.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and present new products and services.
- Work with technical and marketing teams to design and promote cross-selling initiatives that meet customer needs.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand business challenges, propose relevant solutions, and participate in both internal and external client debriefs.
Business Development Planning
- Attend industry functions to gather insights on market and creative trends, and provide feedback to the organization.
- Present to and consult with management on business trends to develop new services, products, and distribution channels, and identify opportunities for sales growth.
- Develop materials and tools for cross-selling, and use market knowledge to identify and enhance the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Management and Research
- Submit weekly progress reports, track key metrics for cross-selling initiatives, and adjust strategies based on performance data and feedback.
- Ensure accurate data entry in the CRM system, forecast and meet sales targets, track account activities, and assist in closing deals.
- Work with marketing to meet prerequisites, ensure team members represent the company well, provide business development training, and understand the company’s capabilities and goals.
Adhoc Projects
- Ad hoc projects as assigned to ensure sales targets are met.
