Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting Mviyo Technologies’ and our clients’ systems, networks, and data against cyber threats. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Infrastructure Development:

• Design and implement robust security architectures for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and standards.
• Manage and configure security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption software.

2. Threat Analysis and Response:

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, using advanced tools and techniques.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

4. Security Awareness and Training:

• Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees.
  – Develop and disseminate security best practices and guidelines.
  – Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure secure design and deployment of applications and systems.
• Provide expert advice on security matters to stakeholders and clients.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a cybersecurity role, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stay current with the rapidly changing technology landscape and emerging threats.
