Job Description

Goldridge College, an independent co-educational school based in Kwekwe has a challenging career opportunity for effective January 2023.

1-Design & Technology Teacher (Up to Ordinary Level)

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • A Degree specializing in Technical subjects (Design and Technology) plus suitable teacher training.
  • The applicant should have a minimum of five years’ experience with a record of high student achievement.
  • Sound knowledge of computers and application of technology to the teaching of Design & Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • To teach Design and Technology.
  • To use ICT and other learning technology in planning and delivery of lessons.
  • To deliver engaging and motivating lessons.
  • To mark and give feedback to students in accordance with the school policy.
  • To coach at least one sporting discipline, ability to coach Hockey or Basketball or Rugby is an advantage.
  • To track the progress of all students through assessments and maximize their achievement.

2-HOSTEL WAITER

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Certificate in Hotel and Catering or Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality or Certificate in Food and Beverages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and care of cutlery, crockery and glassware
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Take and serve food and beverages
  • Arrange Table settings
  • Assist in in food preparation

The suitable candidate should be capable of commencing duty on 9 January 2023.
