Job Description

Role Profile 

Key aspects of the role will require the incumbent to:

  • Plan, develop and implement all aspects of NMB Banks’ digital marketing strategy so as to reach the Banks’ intended markets, drive engagement and ultimately revenue.
  • Establish a robust PR strategy online and offline for the brand and build relations with all key stakeholders.
  • Content creation, online advertising and email marketing
  • Research on current benchmark trends  and audience preferences and implement relevant strategies
  • Plan, budget, Implement and report on all Public Relations programs
  • Create. build and maintain relations with key stakeholders that interact with the NMB brand
  • Monitor, report and analyse results to  improve performance, using tools such  as Google analytics, social media analytical tools and other online and offline tools

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain the Banks digital footprint
  • Develop and maintain the Bank’s website
  • Develop, implement and report on the Bank’s Digital strategy

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Marketing Degree or equivalent
  • Digital Marketing qualification
  • 3 years’ experience in Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications and PR
  • Experience in Public Relations, media relations, and heavy interest in news and current events.
  • Experience managing Twitter, FB, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Snapchat accounts; as well as awareness of emerging platforms
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to synthesize information quickly and communicate complex topics through media releases, social Media posts, and other tactics
  • Interest and developing knowledge of news, current affairs, content marketing/social media, influencer/ambassador, and digital trends and tactics
  • Experience monitoring media coverage and/or social media engagement, as well as in building clips/coverage reports, outreach lists, media/influencer lists, and general brand research
  • Interest in a high energy workplace environment and ability to multitask
