Job Description

Our client in Printing packaging industry is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their dynamic team.

Qualifications.

HND/ Diploma/ in Electrical Power Engineering or Instrumentation and Control, Class 1 Journeyman card.
Experience with boilers and printing machines.
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and responsibility

Installs new electrical equipment, machines, wiring.
Responsible for Installing, calibrating and testing a wide variety of industrial instrumentation such as, control valves, transmitters.
Tests electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
Performs preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and control systems and components.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electricals.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Examining and servicing high voltage systems like motors and generators.
