Position Detail


  • Payments of payables invoices and customs duties
  • Initiating payables requisitions in the payables system and dispatching purchase orders to suppliers.
  • GL coding of suppliers’ invoices, scanning and sending same to Accounts Payables
  • Payment of country trips advances.


  • Preparation of general ledger (GL) reconciliations for some allocated balance sheet accounts.
  • Following up on outstanding reconciling items and preparation of clearing journals
  • Raising of receivable invoices and dispatching same to customers
  • Preparation of GL journals from bank statements, clearing documents and petty cash vouchers.
  • Payment of statutory obligations such as employee taxes, VAT, corporate taxes, and Govt levies.
  • VAT returns compilation and submissions.
  • Generating GL reports for filing.


  • Preparation of external audit schedules.
  • Attending to audit queries and solving accordingly
  • Assist the Controller in compiling other ad hoc reports.
  • Participation in stock take and carrying out stock valuation.
