Finance Manager

Job Description

Our client is a renewable energy service provider with its head office in Harare. They provide commercial and residential solar solutions in line of lighting, water pumping, and heating that are aimed at alleviating electricity challenges.

Role

The Finance Manager will ensure goals are achieved through the implementation of quality management accounting systems that provide the team with quality reliable and referenceable cost/sales data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cost accounting system that includes all fiat currencies
• Develop and maintain a process for Annual budget management from creating, approving, and tracking against commitments.
• Implement and optimize an end-to-end sales and payments process
• Responsible for analyzing costs and recommending cost savings.
• Develop and implement a procurement process
• Develop /Manage a forecast financial model of the business across all products
• Provide guidance to inherently work towards ISO finance standards and IFRS
• Consult on KPIs linked to budget and forecast
• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Accounting degree
• Qualified accountant (Member of professional body ACCA, CIMA, or CIS
• 4 years of Cost Accounting work experience (essential).
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills.
• Driver’s license.
