Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Financial Controller. This position is based in Harare.

Duties and Responsibilities

Working capital Management for the division.
Financial reporting and management accounting for the division.
Review rates and recommend the strategy to the division operations and sales team.
Monitoring and implementation of internal control and compliance.
Effective supply and chain management for all the strategic business units within the Division.
Assisting in project financial management.
Strategic and performance management for the division, including business and accounting reviews.
Management and supervision of the division finance team.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelor`s degree in Accounting from a reputable institution.
Studying towards obtaining post graduate professional accounting qualification e.g. ACCA or CA.
Complete post graduate professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.
At least 3 years experience in a senior accounting role.
Hands-on experience and ability to train/mentor others in the accounting field.
Excellent communication and computer skills i.e. excel, word, SAGE pastel accounting, Opera PMS and materials control.
Strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of the world and local current affairs.
Attention to detail and follow through.
Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
