Job Description

Our client within the transport industry based in South Africa, is looking for a dynamic person for the position of Fleet Manager to join their team.

Requirements

Possess fleet management experience
Basic understanding of Mechanics
Possess 5 years’ experience in driver management cross border
Knowledge of cross border logistics
Have excellent reporting skills
A South African citizen or possession of a South African work permit is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Maintain truck fleet, Tyre management, fuel and costings
Liaise with agents as per the maintenance contract
Ensure drivers are performing to the company policy requirements, fuel consumption, drivers’ paperwork, PODs, etc.,
Day to day maintenance check.
