Job Description

We are involved in providing financial management, governance and sustainability services to the Non-profit. We are looking for a Governance and Sustainability Consultant that shares our passion in building the capacity of organisations in this sector to join our team.

Responsibilities

Undertaking governance assignments including assisting in board orientation, drafting board policy documents, writing articles on governance; developing strategic plans; assisting organisations ensure their sustainability through developing resource mobilisation and sustainability strategies, carrying out donor scoping, designing and facilitating workshops and assisting in growing business in these areas.

Education and Experience

A relevant first or master’s degree in areas such as development studies, governance, strategic planning, change management, etc;
At least 3 years working experience;
Some experience or interest in areas such as resource mobilisation, sustainability and strategy development.

Critical skills required for both posts:

Analytical thinking and innovation
Complex problem solving
Critical thinking and analysis
Resilience, stress tolerance and agility
Creativity and initiative
Leadership and social influence
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Good technological skills
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of packages.
Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
