Job Description

Zimbabwe Power Company is the leading generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from its five Power Stations. The Company is inviting suitably qualified candidates for the position of HEAVY DUTY/BUS DRIVER on a FIXED TERM CONTRACT at Harare Power Station.

Qualifications & Experience

5 ‘O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics
Class 1 Driver’s License
Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
Valid Medical Certificate
6 years relevant experience

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ferrying staff to and from work as well as to various destinations as required.
Delivering ash rubble in Harare.
Operating heavy duty machinery including Front end Loader and Tractor.
Emptying of cyclones.
Carrying out stores section errands.
