Job Description

Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) a subsidiary of ZESA HOLDINGS is the leading generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from its five power stations. The company is inviting suitably qualified, motivated and experienced staff to fill the vacancy of Human Resources Officer (ZPC Head Office) on a FIXED TERM CONTRACT that has arisen in Zimbabwe Power Company.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years post graduate experience.

or

  • 4 years for Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Membership of a recognised professional institution.
  • Knowledge of SAP (HCM) module will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with monitoring and effective implementation of Human Resources Policies, Principles and Procedures.
  • Assists in promoting and maintaining a harmonious industrial relations climate.
  • Assists with implementing and monitoring of the performance management system.
  • Maintains employee records.
  • Assists in Coordinating staff recruitment and selection.
  • Attends to employee welfare issues as per policy.
  • Assists with consolidating Human Resources monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports.
