Position Summary:
The ICT Officer is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the organization’s information and communications technology systems and infrastructure. This includes managing and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications equipment to ensure reliable and secure operations. The ICT Officer works closely with users to understand their needs and provide effective technology solutions. This role also involves planning, implementing, and administering technology initiatives to improve organizational efficiency and productivity.
The main duties of the ICT Officer are:
- Development and Change
- Technical Support, Network Administration and Capacity Building
- System & Information Security
- Inventory management & Maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field;
- Preferred Microsoft Certified Developer;
- Networking certifications e.g. CISCO certifications.
- Management and configuration of Office 365.
Experience
- Four (4) years working in a network environment infrastructure; Systems Administration and Management; LAN and WAN management; Hardware and software integration and maintenance; ERP configurations and Administrations;
- Excellent technical knowledge of computer applications and systems; and
- Exposure to diverse-multicultural environment.
- Experienced with support on Health Systems such as DHIS2, DHIS, Datim an added advantage.
