Job Description

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacancy of Information Technology Officer that has arisen within the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

Provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and Wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications
The availability of computer systems throughout the Company
Ensuring adherence to IT Policy and set rules and regulations.
Implementation of new modules in line with business requirements and change control standards
Ensuring smooth running of computer systems by assisting in resolving production problems
Maintaining the company website and updates it on a regular basis
Identifying training needs for users and arrange for the necessary training on usage of computer systems

The ideal candidate should have the following minimum qualifications: –

Bachelor’s degree Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent
2 years’ working experience preferably in a similar position
