Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to provide Desk Side & Back Office support and overall management and maintenance of computer systems in good working order.
Responsibilities
- Perform telephonic or email support for technical problems
- Perform deskside support on user PCs, printers, mobile devices, etc.
- Perform back-office support on server and networking equipment
- Provide customers with accurate information on IT products and services
- Develop and implement technical policies and procedures effective in quickly addressing customers’ problems to minimize downtime
- Plan and implement necessary hardware\ software upgrades and patches
- Act as a liaison between the IT unit of an organization and its clients
- Prepare and present IT Ops reports for management
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations
- Manage and maintain IT inventory
- Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system
- Design, develop and maintain applications/websites for clients
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems or relevant certifications
- Experience working in a networked computer environment
- Proficiency in a variety of Application & Operating System Software
- Strong organization, planning, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
