Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to provide Desk Side & Back Office support and overall management and maintenance of computer systems in good working order.

Responsibilities

  • Perform telephonic or email support for technical problems
  • Perform deskside support on user PCs, printers, mobile devices, etc.
  • Perform back-office support on server and networking equipment
  • Provide customers with accurate information on IT products and services
  • Develop and implement technical policies and procedures effective in quickly addressing customers’ problems to minimize downtime
  • Plan and implement necessary hardware\ software upgrades and patches
  • Act as a liaison between the IT unit of an organization and its clients
  • Prepare and present IT Ops reports for management
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage and maintain IT inventory
  • Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system
  • Design, develop and maintain applications/websites for clients

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems or relevant certifications
  • Experience working in a networked computer environment
  • Proficiency in a variety of Application & Operating System Software
  • Strong organization, planning, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
