Internal Auditor (with ICT bias)

Job Description

Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) seeks applications from qualified, experienced and self-driven candidates for the position of Internal Auditor (with ICT bias).

Principal Accountabilities

• Evaluates for audit purposes, ZCDC ICT framework and processes including system acquisition/development, system administration, database administration, network configuration, access management, change management and back-up/recovery.
• Assesses alignment of ICT systems and projects against strategic business objectives to ensure ICT investments are providing long term benefit to the organization.
• Perform SAP value-add audits aimed at ensuring effective utilization of all modules and advising management on ways to reduce SAP running costs while maintaining the systems’ maximum contribution to the business.
• Independently researches frameworks, external standards and regulatory requirements to verify conformance of the organization’s ICT.

Job Related Attributes

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is a must.
• Knowledge of IPPF Standards, ISO 27000 series and COBIT 2019 is a pre-requisite.
• Knowledge of SAP, Teammate and ACL is a pre-requisite.
• Certified Internal Auditor qualification with membership at the Institute of Internal Auditors is an added advantage.
• At least five years’ experience in information systems auditing in a large organization.
