Job Description

A Leading Insurance Broking and Risk Management Company is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the IT Administrator position based in Harare.

Description of duties

Administer network workstations
Evaluate and/or recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.
Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Microsoft networks, Windows workstations, file servers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment
Plan and implement network security
Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
Liaise with service providers
Design and implement IT policy, taking into account latest developments.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Degree in IT
Microsoft Server certification
CISCO certified professional will be an added advantage
Working knowledge of Insurance background will be an added advantage
Technology savvy & Digital marketing flair
