Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall Epiroc business at the Zimplats site
  • Responsible for representing Epiroc at customer site meetings as requested by the customer
  • Responsible for acquiring key marketing intelligence at Zimplats to enable sales and revenue growth across all the Epiroc divisions (PSD, TLD and Capital Equipment)
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing machines and components repair business at Zimplats operations
  • Responsible maintaining and growing spare parts business at Zimplats operations
  • Responsible for growing automation and technology (BEV retrofitting, FAM 3, Certiq etc.) business at Zimplats operations
  • Responsible for overall PSD revenue performance at Zimplats
  • Responsible for ensuring availability of spare parts and maintain the stock levels agreed with the customer
  • Responsible for VMI contract management
  • Responsible for non-VMI spare parts forecasting and satisfactory customer experience
  • Track performance of products and services, and recommend customer centric solutions
  • Investigate, document and report all complaints and claims for PSD on site
  • Liaise with Head office workshop to meet customer repairs requirements
  • Assist Head Office management to expedite customer purchase orders and payments on site
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor

Education and experience requirements

  • A good knowledge and understanding of Epiroc products and services
  • Supervisory skills related to directing and workshop staff
  • Computer literacy, in particular ability to work with Microsoft products and databases and BPCS
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position.
