Job Description

Our client in the Construction industry is urgently looking to fill the position of Land Surveyor.

Role:

Make precise, exact measurements in terms of length and other dimensional measurements in order to determine/ stake out reference points and markers aligned with the project specifications that will guide the construction of new structures.

Responsibilities:

Make precise and exact measurements and stake out reference points and markers aligned with the project specifications.
Utilize and stake out according to a suitable coordinate system selected for the project.
Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land and land features ensuring optimal alignment with project specifications.
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at construction sites.
Ensure accurate records of all measurements on construction sites.
Calculate heights, depths and relative positions, and other characteristics of construction terrain.
Liaise with managers, quantity surveyors, and engineers to discuss the measurements and survey data and address any issues that arise.
Provide and/or assist with accurate detailed measurements to ensure alignment with project specifications and requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Surveying.
Fast experience and proven track record in the utilization of Model Maker Software.
Minimum 6 Years’ experience working on and managing construction sites
