REPORTING TO: Marketing Coordinator
LOCATION: Harare, Zimbabwe
MAIN ROLE
The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role In supporting the day-to-day marketing management of the Pizza Inn Brand. This role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator and Operations Teams to ensure the smooth execution of marketing initiatives, effective customer feedback management, and the maintenance of a positive brand image.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Monitors and manages customer feedback with a focus on Identifying and addressing negative comments to minimize negative exposure across all Simbisa Brands.
- Works closely with Marketing Manager and Operations teams to swiftly respond to customer feedback and ensure timely resolutions.
- Tracks and analyses online conversations about our brands, Identifying key trends, sentiment, and potential impacts.
- Monitor what’s being said, by whom, on which platforms, and determine the significance – whether positive or negative.
- Assists In planning and executing promotional campaigns, events, and corporate social responsibility Initiatives.
- Ensures effective communication of brand menus, activities, and promotions to customers through various media channels,
- Oversees the creation and distribution of marketing materials for the brand, ensuring brand consistency.
- Works with Marketing Manager and operations team to develop and communicate limited time offers to both Internal teams and external customers.
- Performs additional duties as directed by the Marketing Manager, providing essential support across all marketing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Marketing or Customer Relationship Management.
- A Certificate In Digital Marketing Is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, particularly In customer feedback management, promotions, and event coordination.
- Strong understanding of Issues and crisis management, with a focus on brand Image and corporate reputation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with both internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to think analytically, solve problems, influence, and persuade others.
- Proven ability to independently manage a complex workload, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
