Position Description / Required Experience
Our company, an aggressively expanding medium sized enterprise comprising of established brands in the structural steel fabrication, borehole and mining drilling, and construction materials sectors, seeks the services of a young, professional and energetic Personal Assistant with at least three years traceable experience in PA work with reputable employers. It is planned that the incumbent will coordinate closely with the MD and function as an extension of his presence within the organisation and to the businesses’ clients.
Key Responsibilities
The position requires a person with a strong results orientation who is able to:
- Professionally manage the itinerary of the Managing Director.
- Professionally and effectively communicate with and convey the instructions of the MD to company employees as well as their industry representatives.
- Receive and respond to communications to and from office of the MD.
- Represent the MD in meetings when and if need arises.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc Business Studies or similar business related tertiary qualification.
- Excellent Written and Spoken communication skills.
- Very good use of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Good grooming and deportment.
