Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor-Pharmaceutical Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Technology Department of the School of Allied Health Sciences.

Duties

The successful candidate should be able to prepare and conduct lectures, practical sessions, tutorials and examinations in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
He or she will also be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research work, conduct research in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry field and to carry out any other departmental duties (academic and administrative) as assigned by the Vice Chancellor through the Departmental Chairperson.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Masters in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
A PhD in a relevant field is an added advantage.
Experience in teaching at tertiary level is an added advantage
