JOB TYPE: PERMANENT POST
LOCATION: HARARE
REPORTING TO: THE ADMINISTRATOR
The following vacancy has arisen within VIVAT HEALTH SOLUTIONS for the position of PHARMACY TECHNICIAN . Interested candidates who meet set requirements are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall supply chain management including receiving new stock and dispatching purchased products to customers.
- Maintaining good personal hygiene and practising good sanitation in accordance with the relevant SOPs, cGMP and GWDP guidelines.
- Ensure that all received products are kept under the required conditions.
- Participate in monthly stock-taking and reconciliation.
- Ensure general cleaning and disinfection of the warehouse is carried out as per standard operating procedures.
- Weekly checking or tracking of products that are due for expiry and ensuring proper documentation is done as per standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that goods or products received are accompanied by proper documentation including certificates of analysis and invoices.
- Receive and compile all customer complaints for the Sales and Marketing Department and any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a diploma in pharmaceutical technology.
- Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe.
- Must be a holder of an MCAZ license.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical wholesale or warehouse.
- Knowledge of WHO (World Health Organisation) current good wholesaling and distribution practices for pharmaceutical products.
- Good knowledge of current MCAZ’s cGMP regulations and national drug laws.
- Experience in a similar role is a distinct advantage.
