Job Description

Our client, in the FMCG industry, is looking for a qualified and experienced supply chain executive who specialises in Procurement to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Manage the company’s procurement function
Develop and maintain key supplier relations
Manage the procurement team inclusive of appraisals and training.
Standardize operating procedures and implement them.
Savings Forecast and procurement process control
Procurement Spend analysis
Formulating Procurement KPIs’ and dashboards for the process control.
Continuously review the procurement process (sourcing and transactional)
Lead negotiations
GAP analysis in procurement & inventory
Reporting

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management or similar
More than 10 years’ experience at a senior procurement level. Experience within the FMCG industry would be an added advantage
Demonstrated success at supplier management
