An exciting opportunity exists for a Regional Sales Supervisor to join our team in Zimbabwe.

The main purpose of this role is to provide oversight of Area Sales Leads, sales agents and sales campaigns in a designated region.

The Regional Sales Supervisor reports to the Sales Lead. This position is responsible for implementing sales strategy, supervising agent team, training and onboarding agents, managing marketing collateral and tracking agent performance and coaching agents towards stretch goals.

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but is not limited to):

  • Coordinate the implementation of growth and brand strategy in allotted Region
  • Ensure alignment of sales activities with overarching sales strategy by meeting registration, conversion, agent effectiveness targets
  • Lead activations and drive marketing campaigns in allotted Region
  • Develop a sales approach, scripts and messaging for a campaign
  • Custodianship of the Mukuru brand and maintenance of that standard
  • Engage with potential and existing customers to advise on and provide product support
  • Conduct frequent audits of sales agent sites
  • Periodically engage with customers to assess the quality of service delivered by agents and provide feedback to agent team
  • Provide guidance and support to Area Leads in the execution of their duties
  • Liaise with HR and Sales Department Management to resolve any staff issues
  • Solve escalated queries
  • Identify potential new agents and engage with approval from the Sales Lead
  • Facilitate training for new and existing agents periodically in line with Training Lead’s requirements
  • Assist with onboarding new agents, including setting up devices and leading system walkthroughs
  • Monitor individual team member’s performance and targets
  • Prepare for and lead weekly team meetings to discuss product performance
  • Coach agents towards stretch goals
  • Periodic one on one and team performance review sessions to optimise performance
  • Manage marketing collateral stock
  • Ensure sufficient stock of marketing collateral is available
  • Assist with the generation marketing collateral with approval from the Sales Lead
  • Assist with the distribution of branded material to agents and retail sites
  • Develop and monitor accurate budgets for sales activities and marketing material
  • Generate and submit reports to the Sales Lead on sales and marketing opportunities and activities

Key Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
  • 5 O’ Levels (Essential)
  • Sales and Marketing qualification (Desirable)
  • At least 2 year sales or front-line experience (Essential)
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of how to generate marketing collateral
  • Knowledge of Mukuru products and services
  • Knowledge of KYC processes and guidelines
