Principle Accountabilities

Conducts internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed.
Conducts environmental audits adhering to environmental standards
Ensures that all employees are thoroughly updated about the organization’s policies, regulations and processes.
Resolves employee issues about the legal risk compliance
Advises management regarding the implementation of compliance programs
Revises rules report comprehensive compliance reports and procedures at regular intervals to recognize the risks
Conducts spot check on branches to ensure compliance and flag instances of compliance
Prepares comprehensive compliance reports and presents findings to senior management
Conducts anti money laundering training to all staff
Enforces internal controls as to safeguard the assets of the business from misappropriation
Works on projects or any other duties assigned by the Finance Director

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk management or related field
At least 5 years of experience
Experience as a Risk and compliance Officer in the FMCG sector
Strong understanding of legal compliance, risk management and corporate governance
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in compliance software tools
