Job Description

Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) seeks applications from qualified, experienced and self-driven candidates for the position of Safety Health and Environment Quality (SHEQ) Officer.

Principle Accountabilities

Implements organization’s SHEQ policies and procedures.
Identifies risk issues and advises departments accordingly.
Recommends preventive measures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Ensures adherence to SHEQ best practices in production processes and operations.
Develops and implements SHEQ management programs.
Manages reviews and tracks resolutions for continual improvement.
Carries out audits and inspections and implements corrective auctions.

Job Related Attributes

Degree in Environmental Science OR Safety, Health and Environment.
OSHEMAC qualification is an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience in a mining environment.
Training in SHEQ Auditing.
Sound knowledge of ISP 14001:2015, 9001:2015 and 15001:2018
Proficiency in Microsoft computer packages.
