Sales Officer (Medical Warehouse)

Job Description

Cimas is a medical aid society whose purpose is to inspire healthier communities by providing global standard health and wellness solutions. In pursuant to this purpose, Cimas is searching for a Sales Officer — Medical Warehouse to acquire new customers and retain Cimas Wholesale customers through various sales initiatives in line with set performance targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Researching and identifying prospective customer base (Pharmacies, Hospitals, Clinics).
• Engaging customers through planned visits, cold calling, meetings to grow customer base.
• Liaising with Legal on Service Level Agreements with customers and partners.
• Engaging customers, resolving and escalating queries to maintain high retention levels.
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Key Competencies

• The ideal candidate should possess both clear verbal and written communication skills, with a capability to produce accurate reports.
• They should be able to analyze and solve work-related problems to achieve the correct outcomes.
• The ideal candidate must have the ability to interact, negotiate and achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent.
• 2 — 4 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Sales is essential.
• Professional affiliations i.e., Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Association of Zimbabwe desirable.
