Job Description

Cheek Mbungo Enterprise (Pvt) Ltd is looking for suitably qualified candidates to urgently fill the position of Senior Accounts Clerk – Reconciliation(Banks, Ecocash, Cash and POS) that has arisen within their Finance function.

Responsible for

Updating daily receipts and ensuring that cash is banked intact and timeously as per instruction
Checking of daily receipts and banking summarises to ensure cash is required
Transfer cash receipts to bank account in pastel accounting system
Reconciliation of cash, ecocash and bank accounts Capturing of daily receipt journals from ecocash and swipe transactions in Pastel Accounting System
Debtors follow-up and reconciliation of debtors monthly statements
Preparing of daily interfunds journal (swipe a nd ecocash) Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements
Assist in
- Overnight safe keeping of funds before banking
- Daily physical cash verification against receipt summaries and spot checks
- Supervision of Accounts and Revenue Clerks

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Accounting/Finance or Higher Diploma in Accountancy
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIS, SAAA, IAC
A minimum of 3 years Knowledge of pastel Accounting System a must At least 30 years old and mature
