The Role:
The Stock analyst position is vital for inventory management operations as the incumbent will be among other duties, responsible for the day-to-day analysis, reporting, tracking, and corrective aspects of the logistics work.
Key Performance Areas:
- Support operational tasks of inventory management processes.
- Inventory reports for daily, weekly, and monthly requirements including ad – hoc reports requirements.
- Order management (internal & external suppliers).
- Returns processing.
- Responsible for issuing replenishment orders to satellites from SMCDI and Local Suppliers.
- Responsible for purchase order expediting with Order Desk.
- Responsible to support Inventory Planner in the items parameter settings in the stockrooms if needed.
- Responsible for the execution of the returns to SMCDI.
- Identify process and system requirements at the area level for continuous improvements.
- Participate and support regional/global initiatives or projects as needed.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Logistics and supply chain/Purchasing and material management/Economics.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Inventory management.
- Analytics and planning experience
