Job Description

The following vacancy has arisen within Privos Pharma for the position of Strategic Business Unit Sales Rep (x1). Interested candidates who meet the set requirements are encouraged to apply.

REPORTING TO: THE ADMINISTRATOR

THE POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

  • Marketing of pharmaceutical and surgical products.
  • Assessing clients’ needs and presenting suitable promoted products.
  • Working with the warehouse team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies.
  • Monitoring and analyzing data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  • Key customer relationship management.
  • Respond to order requests by generating orders using ERP.
  • Personal selling by either calling or visiting (Cold Calling).
  • Vetting and allocation for credit sales.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements together with the warehouse supervisor.
  • Warehousing, inventory management and housekeeping.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Sales / Marketing degree
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in supply chain / distribution / operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, is an advantage.
