Job Summary

Openings has arisen in Lupane, Tsholotsho, Nkayi, Kadoma and Hurungwe. Incumbent responsible for assisting the Strategic Information and Evaluation Officer with SIE duties key amongst other duties data collection, data analysis for report writing as well as conducting DQAs and routine data verifications.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data collection, accurately capturing data through various software programs; ensuring all data remains secure and follows through on security protocols;
  • Assist the SIE Officer with compiling statistical reports;
  • Organise files;
  • Follow up on reports from Programmes team; daily/weekly/monthly analysis of data for report writing, data cleaning for errors and report problems with data;
  • Assists in collection of success stories from the field;
  • Assists with baseline surveys and project evaluations; conducting DQAs and routine data verifications

Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, M&E, demography or Public Health.
  • Computer literate, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook. MS Access, Nvivo, STATA, R and SPSS (or other statistical packages) an added advantage;
  • Qualification in Advanced Excel will be an added advantage;
  • Ability to work independently with large quantities of data, analyse, convert and interpret it into understandable results under minimal supervision.
  • Must have good customer care skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to multi task
