Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the post of Technician or Technical Instructor in the Pharmaceutical Technology Department of the School of Allied Health Sciences.

Duties

The successful candidate should be able to prepare and conduct practical sessions, assist lecturers in seminars and tutorials in various areas of Pharmacy including Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Formulation Technology, Pharmacognosy, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, amongst other related undergraduate courses.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (Honors) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related fields.
A postgraduate teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
