Job Summary
As Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivers of learning solutions within the global context for both employees, and customers. To create training process and to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in the mine and site.
In this position you will report to the Engineering and facilities Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop and maintain specific training portfolio including pricing.
- Provide strategic oversight of all training programs in the portfolio.
- Analyze training profitability and sales success.
- Position the training products for all markets and all buyer types.
- Host and facilitate internal and external specific technical training program.
- Drive development of new methods, tools, and processes within training
- Analyze the competitive landscape and status for all training programs.
- Discover and validate market opportunities (both existing and future ones)
- Develop the required safety forums and methods to suitably address safety amongst all employees.
- Ensure implementation of The Sandvik Way within area of responsibility.
Your Profile:
- We are looking for someone with a tertiary level qualification in Education, teaching /Training experience or any relevant program from a recognized certified institution and a minimum of 5 years working experience in training.
- Trade Certificate (Skilled Worker Class 1 Certificate) in the field of Diesel Plant Fitting or Millwright is a must.
- Training experience in a lead or project management role is desirable.
- A valid class four (4) driver’s license.
- Knowledge of the Business Management Systems (BMS)
- Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment is a pre-requisite.
- Computer literate
