Job Description

Our client in the banking sector is looking for qualified and experienced Tellers to join their organization.

Main Duties:

Timeous processing of wholesale and retail cash withdrawal instructions.
Receipt of wholesale and retail cash deposits.
Buying and selling of foreign currency and gold coins.
Authentication of instructions from customers.
Posting of all transactions promptly and accurately.
Balancing cash drawer in accordance with Bank procedures.
Keeping operating losses minimal through prudent application of telling skills.
Reporting of any suspicious transactions, frauds and forgeries to management in order to mitigate any fraudulent activities.
Attending to customer inquiries.

Skills & Competences:

Strong numerical/quantitative skills.
Sound knowledge of banking products and services.
Excellent customer service skills and attentiveness.
High level of confidentiality.
Good communication and inter-personal skills.
Computer literacy.

Qualification : To Apply:

Have ‘A’ Level.
IOBZ Intermediate Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year relevant experience.
