Main responsibilities

Responsible for management of the Epiroc Zimbabwe Head office workshop.
Responsible for liaising with marketing and contracts management personnel to meet customer requirements for field service, training, and equipment repairs.
Responsible for liaising with marketing and contracts personnel to forecast equipment repairs workload.
Responsible for spare parts forecasting and planning in the workshop
Responsible for forecasting, planning and sourcing labour to meet workshop, field service and training requirements
Responsible for effective scheduling of workload to optimize labour utilization
Continuously identify skills gaps and close the gaps through appropriate trainings.
Developing and managing documented operational procedures and process improvement programs.
Responsible for safety, men and machinery and the achievement of all workshop KPIs
Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor

Education and experience requirements

A good knowledge and understanding of Epiroc products and services
Supervisory skills related to directing and workshop staff
Computer literacy, in particular ability to work with Microsoft products and databases and BPCS
Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
Interpersonal skills to work with customers
Strong self-management character with process ownership
Relevant business acumen and ability to sell products and services
