Job Description

Zimplats seeks to engage recently qualified and highly motivated Graduates for a two (2) year structured Graduate Learnership programme that blends professional development with practical experience.

CLOSING DATE: 13 December 2022
DEPARTMENT AND LOCATION: Human Resources Development – Selous ad Ngezi
JOB TITLE: Graduate Learner
JOB GRADING: C1

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Numbers Required x Discipline and Qualifications Required

6 x Mining – B.Sc Honors Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University
3 x Metallurgy – B.Sc Honors Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University
3 x Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) – B.Sc Honors Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
1 x Geology – B.Sc Honors Degree in Geology from a recognized University
1 x SHEQ – B.Sc Honors Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management or equivalent from a recognized University
1 x Finance/Accounting – B.Com Accounting or equivalent from a recognised University

REQUIREMENTS:

An upper second-class degree a better
Clean class 4 driver’s licence and previous industrial attachment would be an added advantage
Aged 26 years and below

LEARNERSHIP PROGRAM STRUCTURE:

On-the-job guided technical/functional competency development
Expert facilitated modules off-the-job for management and leadership development
In-function focused coaching
Off-line mentorship support
Cross functional rotation for all encompassing business and operations appreciation
Quarterly progress review and final check-out assessment after twenty-four (24) months.
